I think we can deem ourselves “beach experts” after having spent 11+ years living in beachy locations. With that much time with our toes in the sand, we have come to have some favourite products when it comes to everything beachy.

One of them being: SAND TOYS

When we lived on the boat we accumulated so many beach toys. At one point we had way too many. It was not because we were buying them, but because when friends that we had made on the beach (vacationers) were leaving, many didn’t want to bring their sandy toys back home with them, so they’d leave them with us thinking our boat babies would put them to good use. Some, the girls loved, some were just cheap plastic and broke right away. Some I just passed on to others because you only need so many sand pales!

There are also certain sand toys that bought for our girls because of their specific interest, and some that belonged to friends that the girls always played with when we gathered on the beach.

Here’s a roundup of some sand toys that you may want to add to your Amazon cart for this summer as they were/are a major hit for our girls.

Think of these as an investment to keep your kids happily occupied while you relax on the beach!

These, although they look like nothing, are pretty fantastic. You throw all your sandy toys in there and then just dunk the whole bag in the ocean to rinse off the sand. Voila!

Do you see a theme in the sand toys!? Our girls have always loved to pretend to make us sand food.
